NATIONAL TRANSPORT INNOVATION COMPETITION OF UKRAINE 2026
The All-Ukrainian Competition of Research Papers, Innovations, Inventions, and Project Solutions in the Field of Transport and Transport Infrastructure, aimed at identifying and recognizing the best developments that address the current needs of Ukraine’s development.
PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION
- identification and support of innovative and scientific solutions in the transport sector;
- stimulation of the development of transport science, engineering, and applied research;
- engagement of young researchers and professionals in solving current transport challenges;
- formation of a кадровий and intellectual talent pool for Ukraine’s transport industry;
- promotion of the modernization of transport infrastructure and logistics systems.
PARTICIPATION RULES
Participants of the competition may include:
- researchers and scientists;
- university lecturers and students;
- engineers and transport industry professionals;
- representatives of business, public administration, and the civil society sector.
Participants may submit individual or team projects developed in 2025.
All submitted works undergo expert evaluation based on established criteria, according to which the competition winners are determined.

Engineering developments, new vehicles, safety systems, materials, and design solutions.
Transport Infrastructure and Road Construction
Projects and research related to roads, bridges, transport hubs, ports, and terminals.

Optimization of transportation processes, multimodal solutions, and supply chain management.
Digitalization and Intelligent Transport Systems
IT solutions, automation, Smart Mobility, digital platforms, and monitoring systems.
Sustainable Transport and Ecology
Electric transport, alternative fuels, emission reduction, and environmentally friendly solutions.
Transport Economics and Investment Projects
Financial models, investment strategies, and public-private partnership initiatives.
State Transport Policy and Governance
Analytics, reforms, strategic planning, and regulation of the transport sector.
Education, Science, and Human Capital in Transport
Educational programs, workforce training, scientific schools, and competency development.

16.03.2025–27.03.2026 — submission of competition entries.
30.03.2026–03.04.2026 — expert evaluation of submitted works.
06.04.2026 — announcement of competition winners.
10.04.2026 — award ceremony.
